A tres d\u00edas h\u00e1biles de las elecciones legislativas, el mercado cambiario volvi\u00f3 a mostrar una fuerte presi\u00f3n. El d\u00f3lar mayorista alcanz\u00f3 los $1.490,50, su valor m\u00e1s alto desde la implementaci\u00f3n del esquema de bandas, y oblig\u00f3 al Banco Central (BCRA) a vender USD 45,5 millones para contener la cotizaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

La intervenci\u00f3n se dio luego de varias semanas sin ventas oficiales y en un contexto de creciente demanda de cobertura por parte de empresas e inversores. El volumen operado en el mercado de contado fue de USD 718,4 millones<\/strong>, un aumento de m\u00e1s de USD 320 millones<\/strong> respecto de la jornada anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El techo de la banda cambiaria se ubica actualmente en $1.491,07<\/strong>, apenas 57 centavos por encima<\/strong> del cierre oficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcc9 Ca\u00edda de reservas y presi\u00f3n preelectoral<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Las reservas internacionales<\/strong> del BCRA cayeron USD 776 millones<\/strong> en un solo d\u00eda, producto de tres factores: la ca\u00edda del precio del oro (\u20135,6%), un pago al Banco de Desarrollo de Am\u00e9rica Latina (CAF) y las ventas en el mercado spot. Con este retroceso, el stock total se ubic\u00f3 en USD 40.539 millones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los analistas advierten que, si bien la volatilidad se mantiene bajo control, el mercado opera con un claro sesgo dolarizador previo a las elecciones<\/strong>. Seg\u00fan Gustavo Ber, economista de Estudio Ber, \u201cla cobertura cambiaria sigue prevaleciendo, y reci\u00e9n despu\u00e9s de los comicios podr\u00eda haber mayor claridad sobre el rumbo pol\u00edtico y econ\u00f3mico<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el analista Pedro Siaba Serrate<\/strong> de Portfolio Personal Inversiones explic\u00f3 que \u201chay una fuerte demanda de d\u00f3lares como resguardo. El mercado est\u00e1 en modo \u2018mostrame los votos\u2019, esperando se\u00f1ales de estabilidad tras las elecciones\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 Intervenci\u00f3n internacional y rol de Estados Unidos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

El Tesoro de Estados Unidos<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n tuvo participaci\u00f3n en el mercado para acompa\u00f1ar el esquema de bandas. El secretario Scott Bessent ratific\u00f3 que Washington considera adecuado el rango actual y asegur\u00f3 que continuar\u00e1 interviniendo tanto en el mercado oficial como en el financiero, especialmente a trav\u00e9s del \u201ccontado con liquidaci\u00f3n\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, el Gobierno argentino confirm\u00f3 la activaci\u00f3n de un swap con Estados Unidos por USD 20.000 millones<\/strong> y una recompra de deuda<\/strong>, aunque ambas medidas no lograron frenar del todo la tensi\u00f3n cambiaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcc8 Expectativas y perspectivas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el economista Carlos Rodr\u00edguez, \u201clos tres tipos de d\u00f3lar \u2014oficial, MEP y CCL\u2014 se encuentran en los valores m\u00e1s altos de la historia. El mercado avanza sin una corrida, pero con incrementos diarios sostenidos. Todo apunta a que despu\u00e9s de las elecciones podr\u00eda haber un escenario completamente distinto\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mientras tanto, los analistas coinciden en que el actual esquema cambiario no es sostenible<\/strong> si persiste la p\u00e9rdida de reservas y la falta de oferta privada. La evoluci\u00f3n del d\u00f3lar en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas depender\u00e1 del resultado electoral y del apoyo internacional al programa econ\u00f3mico argentino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
