{"id":4387,"date":"2024-03-23T10:27:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-23T13:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuevodigitaldeescobar.com.ar\/?p=4387"},"modified":"2024-03-23T14:30:58","modified_gmt":"2024-03-23T17:30:58","slug":"historias-ferroviarias-ferrocarril-de-trocha-ancha-rosario-a-puerto-belgrano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuevodigitaldeescobar.com.ar\/?p=4387","title":{"rendered":"Historias Ferroviarias: \u00abFerrocarril de trocha ancha Rosario a Puerto Belgrano\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><em>Nuestro vecino matheuense Abel Fern\u00e1ndez nos trae otro relato de la historia de los ferrocarriles de nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>El terrateniente Diego de Alvear, con campos en el sur de Santa Fe, C\u00f3rdoba y noroeste de Buenos Aires, solicit\u00f3 al Gobierno Nacional la autorizaci\u00f3n para instalar un ferrocarril que uniera los puertos de Rosario y el Puerto Belgrano. Por el a\u00f1o 1903 \u00e9sta fue acordada y de inmediato se aboc\u00f3 a formar el capital con el concurso de Dreyfus, Otto Bember, la Banca de Par\u00eds y la Societ\u00e9 Generale.<\/p>\n<p>A mediados de 1906 comenz\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n que, estimo, se inici\u00f3 desde ambas puntas: Villa Diego por el norte y Almirante Solier por el sur. \u00c9sta 27 kil\u00f3metros de Bah\u00eda Blanca, pues 797 kil\u00f3metros, con las 56 estaciones, qued\u00f3 terminada a fines del a\u00f1o 1910.<\/p>\n<p>Contaba la empresa, al momento de iniciar el tr\u00e1fico, con 50 locomotoras, 37 coches de pasajeros y 1129 vagones. Para completar la operatividad del FC se cre\u00f3 un empalme desde Casilla 12 en Rosario a Villa Diego (13 kil\u00f3metros) para que los trenes de pasajeros iniciaran el servicio desde Rosario Central. El tren inaugural parti\u00f3 de \u00e9sta el 16 de diciembre de 1910 en horas de la ma\u00f1ana, con la locomotora adornada con banderas argentinas y francesas. A unos 100 kil\u00f3metros el tren se detuvo en Bigand, ah\u00ed las autoridades y el personal almorzaron, agasajados por el vecindario, y pernoctaron, para reiniciar el viaje el d\u00eda 17, arribando a Almirante Solier a las 16:50. La estaci\u00f3n engalanada con los colores argentinos y franceses por ser la empresa de esa nacionalidad, el pueblo con demostraciones de bienvenida, hizo uso de la palabra el comandante de la base naval de Puerto Belgrano, el Almirante More, y por la noche, en el coche comedor del tren se sirvi\u00f3 un banquete para 50 personas, donde asistieron el gerente de la empresa, Francoise Sisque, y tal vez los socios capitalistas.<\/p>\n<p>Para crear este ferrocarril, los se\u00f1ores Alvear, Dreyfus, Bember y dem\u00e1s socios, habr\u00e1n pensado que con \u00e9l captaban todo el tr\u00e1fico de cereal del sur de Santa Fe, C\u00f3rdoba y norte de Buenos Aires, abaratando fletes, para embarcarlo en puerto de aguas profundas, pero siendo un FC de una sola l\u00ednea, sin ramales que se adentran en los campos, adem\u00e1s con la competencia del FC Sud, no fue as\u00ed.
