Se ubica entre 9,8 y 12,7 gramos por d\u00eda, cuando la sugerencia de OMS es de menos de 5,5. El dato lo aporta la Sociedad Argentina de Hipertensi\u00f3n arterial.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Se sabe que comer demasiada sal es malo para la salud. Eleva la presi\u00f3n arterial, lo que aumenta el riesgo de enfermedades card\u00edacas y accidentes cerebrovasculares.<\/p>\n<p>Alrededor de tres cuartas partes de sal se agrega a los alimentos durante la fabricaci\u00f3n. Esta sal se esconde en alimentos b\u00e1sicos cotidianos como el pan, el queso y las carnes procesadas. Los alimentos comunes, como las comidas de pasta listas para comer o un s\u00e1ndwich de jam\u00f3n, pueden tener hasta la mitad de nuestra ingesta total recomendada de sal.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Los l\u00edmites de sal son la mejor manera de reducir su consumo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Reducir la cantidad de sal a\u00f1adida a los alimentos durante la fabricaci\u00f3n es la forma m\u00e1s eficaz de reducir su consumo.<\/p>\n<p>Los l\u00edmites de sal pueden ayudar a lograrlo. Funcionan estableciendo topes sobre la cantidad que se puede agregar a diferentes tipos de alimentos, como pan o galletitas. Para cumplir con estos l\u00edmites, las empresas necesitan cambiar las recetas de sus productos.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo los l\u00edmites de sal, el Reino Unido redujo la ingesta en un 20% en aproximadamente una d\u00e9cada. Sud\u00e1frica est\u00e1 logrando avances a\u00fan m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos. Los l\u00edmites de sal son baratos y f\u00e1ciles de implementar, y pueden obtener resultados r\u00e1pidamente.<\/p>\n<p>Tampoco los consumidores notar\u00e1n muchos cambios en la mesa. La mayor\u00eda de las personas no se da cuenta cuando se elimina algo de sal de los alimentos comunes. Hay muchas maneras en que las empresas pueden hacer que los alimentos tengan el mismo sabor salado sin agregar tanta sal.<\/p>\n<p>Por ejemplo, pueden hacer que los cristales de sal sean m\u00e1s finos o usar sal enriquecida con potasio, que cambia parte del sodio da\u00f1ino de la sal por potasio. Y debido a que el cambio ser\u00e1 gradual, nuestras papilas gustativas se adaptar\u00e1n a alimentos menos salados con el tiempo.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-758\" src=\"http:\/\/nuevodigitaldeescobar.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/alimentacion-1-e1699311110308.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Reducir la sal en los alimentos preparados podr\u00eda salvar vidas<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Un modelo de la universidad de Melbourne muestra que arreglar nuestros l\u00edmites de sal podr\u00eda agregar 36.000 a\u00f1os adicionales de vida saludable, en toda la poblaci\u00f3n, durante los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Esto retrasar\u00eda m\u00e1s de 300 muertes cada a\u00f1o y reducir\u00eda el gasto en atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en un equivalente a 6.000 visitas al hospital.<\/p>\n<p>La experiencia internacional demuestra que los costos de la aplicaci\u00f3n de esos l\u00edmites de sal ser\u00edan muy bajos y superar\u00edan con creces los beneficios.<\/p>\n<p>Tomarse en serio el tema de la sal salvar\u00eda vidas, y se amortizar\u00eda con creces gracias a la reducci\u00f3n de los costos de la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria y al aumento de la actividad econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p><em>(TN)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Su consumo en el pa\u00eds supera ampliamente las recomendaciones.
